Did You Know Not Enough Vitamin D Can Cause Heart Attacks?

Being deficient in vitamin D can cause problems such as rickets.  But did you also know that not having enough of this particular vitamin raises your chance of getting a heart attack or stroke?  According to one study, you have a 60 percent increased risk if you lack the minimum of 400 IU of vitamin D a day.
