You just colored your hair that beautiful new shade.  However, if you think that just washing with a color-safe shampoo and conditioner are enough to keep that color vivid, then you will be interested to know that a deep treatment mask instead of your regular conditioner will seal in the outer layer of the cuticle to protect the color longer.

Easy Trick to Make the Most of Your Eyes!

If you want your eyes to really be spectacular, then you should always use an eyelash curler.  Before you put on your mascara, clamp the eyelash curler from the base for a few seconds before releasing it.  Switch to the other eye and work the eyelash curler the same way.  You will notice a big difference in making your eyes stand out!

Over Whitening Can Damage Your Teeth

All of us want beautiful white teeth.  However, if you go overboard with whitening products or procedures, you'll pay for it later.  Enamel cannot be replaced once it's gone so be kind to those pearly whites.  Whiten teeth twice a year.

Something I like to use is a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water.  Gargle with this mixture daily can whiten teeth considerably.  Besides, it won't leave that pasty film in your mouth like those strips do.  Yet it does help brighten up a smile.

Do You Know When to Toss Mascara Out?

Mascara is one cosmetic that needs to be replaced often.  To protect your eyes from any threat of bacteria, it's important to throw your mascara out after three months.  This holds true for any liquid eyeliners as well.

Drying Your Hair Can Matter How Long That Hair Color Lasts!

Believe it or not, your color treated hair holds up better when you blow dry on the lowest heat setting, instead of resorting to letting your hair dry naturally in the air.

Do You Know The Right Order to Apply Face Powder?

For the best results, you should always dust your face with your face powder after all liquid products are applied from a moisturizer, foundation, concealer to any cream blush, etc.  However, you need to remember to also apply face powder before any other powders you use if you want those cosmetics to set and absorb the shine.

To Keep Your Hair Color Natural!

The best way to keep people from noticing that you resort to hair color is simple.  My advice is by going only one shade lighter or one shade darker than your original hair color and no one will ever guess that your beautiful shade of hair is nothing but natural.  If you keep to this basic rule, you will just appear ageless!

Rescue Your Hair From a Bad Case of Frizziness!

For those humid, rainy days when you're struggling with kinking hair, you could grab that scarf to hide your untamable locks or reach for a commercial product only to find out you ran out and forgot to restock.  So what do you do to manage that frizzy problem?

Another idea would be to reach for that jar of petroleum jelly and rub about a dime-size amount in the palms of your hands.  Lightly smooth this petroleum jelly over the top layers of your hair.  Remarkably, this cheap petroleum jelly fix works to quickly help calm that kinky hair problem so you'll feel more like yourself again instead of an unsheared human woolly sheep!

Is Frizzy Hair Your Problem?

If your hair looks like you've just been electrocuted, you could try a couple things.  For one, you should skip towel drying your hair, which only makes the problem worse by roughing up those hair cuticles.

Another helpful tip would be to switch your rinse out type of a hair conditioner to a leave-in variety.  However, you don't have to buy anything new.  Just use less of your normal hair conditioner and leave in.  This mild coating on your hair helps it from absorbing moisture from humidity.

The Best Makeup Trick for Aging Skin

You might be tempted to pile more makeup on the older you get.  However, more of something is not necessarily the best route to go.  A too heavy hand with makeup can settle into those wrinkles and age your face more than using less.
