Constantly Hungry Between Meal?

Do you find yourself always raiding the refrigerator soon after you finish a meal?  If you say yes, then the problem might be related to high-fructose corn syrup in the products you consume.  Unlike other sugars, high-fructose corn syrup, which is found in soft drinks, baked goods, cereals and salad dressings, interferes with how your body regulates your appetite.

Regular cane sugar releases leptin, a protein that turns off hunger pains whereas high-fructose corn syrup can do the opposite.

The best protection is to check product labels.  If high-fructose corn syrup is one of the first five ingredients, leave it on that store shelf!  Your body will thank you.

What Causes Less Damage to Hair--Blow Dryer or Towel-Drying?

The debate is on which method causes the least damage to hair.  If you are the type that prefers to towel-dry you can be too rough and end up tangling it.  However, if you remember to just gently blot your wet hair instead of using a vigorous rub, your hair will be spared from damage.

Now, on the other hand, you might be tempted to use a high heat too long when using your blow dryer.  As a result, hair can suffer damage and frizz.  So be careful and remember to be kind to your hair regardless of the method you choose!
